The Hunt
The abundance of wild pheasants on our 20,000 acres of highly developed private hunting land and our experienced and courteous guides with well-trained dogs ensure the enjoyment and success of the hunt. Our professional guide staff has been involved in killing over 60,000 pheasants in the last 10 years.

Most hunts are carried out in traditional South Dakota style using walkers, blockers, and dogs. Rotating walkers and blockers ensures a variety of shots at flushing birds as well as the more challenging fast action rush of pass shooting. Past hunters have enjoyed a 98% bag limit. The other 2% are working on their shooting skills.

At STECKLEY’S WILD DAKOTA OUTFITTERS we provide a well-maintained fleet of vehicles, which consists of 1 large 4x4 bus, 1 large 2x4 bus, 1 small 4x4 bus, and a 4x4 crew cab pickup.
